Breathe.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Move⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Emote.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you considered the link between organs and emotions? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am continually in awe as I witness the connection of organs to healing. I have the honor of seeing this synergy in therapeutic movement, visceral manual therapy and chi gong.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lungs represent grief. Today I had a woman come in that just lost a beloved family member. The grief was palpable when she walked in the door. I noted the grieving posture of rounded shoulders, upper & mid spine flexion (protecting the lungs) and that her breathe was frozen in her body with no where to go. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We started todays very gentle session with breathe and then gentle mobilizations for the lungs and thorax. The breath started to flow and soon the tears were flowing too. I held space for her to emote and also shed tears as I stood witness to her process. Within this safe, familar space she started to breathe, move and emote. I always feel honored when people emote in the space that I have mindfully prepared.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What a privelege to support so many amazing people on their journey’s; to know them and their bodies and yes their organs as they experience life’s ups and downs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Keep breathing, moving and emoting my friends.
