Hi there
We’ve had a little preview of spring here lately—and I’ve been soaking up every second of it. 🌷
Walking more, breathing fresh air, and letting nature do what it does best: reset my nervous system.
But here’s what I’ve been noticing most… gratitude.
Grateful that walking feels good right now.
Because it wasn’t always that way.
I’ve had hip issues in the past that made walking challenging—and sometimes painful. So being able to move freely now feels like a gift.
And here’s what might surprise you:
A big part of healing my hip was healing my gut.
Sure, I did plenty of mobility + stability work (yes, isometrics too!), but what made the biggest difference was addressing the Brain + Body + Gut connection.
That’s what we explored in this week’s Brain Body Biome INspo—how the gut and hips are more connected than most people realize, and how supporting both can lead to real change.
📹 Missed the live session? You can catch the Brain Body Biome INspo replay right here, where I unpack the gut-hip connection and why it matters more than you might think.
But if you’re ready to just get moving—without all the talk—check out the video above.
It includes a short sequence with a few additional exercises not covered in the BBB INspo, all designed to support hip and gut health through movement.
We focus on the iliacus muscle (which supports intestinal tone and balance), and an isometric that will INform our nervous system, gut AND your hip joint that it is safe and stable!
And if you’re ready to take it even deeper… I’ve got something for you:
💩 Poop Camp is a short, targeted program that blends movement, nervous system regulation, and organ release work to support digestion from the inside out.
It even includes self-soothing techniques and meditations to support the digestive process from the first bite to, well… 💩
🛒 You can access Poop Camp HERE
If you’re a member of the Gutsy Brain Movement Membership, it’s already included inside your portal—just one of the many perks!
I’d love to hear from you…
How are your hips feeling lately?
How’s your digestion?
Have you ever considered the connection between the two?

Wishing you ease in your movement & digestion,
Kelly
