After an unforgettable few days chaperoning my daughter and her friends at the Regional Dance America Festival—full of high-energy rehearsals, late-night performances, hotel room laughs, and very little sleep—I came home to a full week ahead.

Work. Catch-up. School field trips.
Hello, Maycember. 😅

Let’s just say re-entry has felt a little… extra.

If you’ve ever come back from travel or a high-energy experience and thought, “Why am I so exhausted?”—you’re not alone. I had to call on every nervous system regulation tool I’ve got just to avoid collapsing into the laundry pile. 🙃

In this week’s Brain Body Biome INspo, I shared exactly how I’m supporting my Brain + Body + Biome post-travel—starting with realistic expectations, gentle movement, and one of my favorite nervous system sequences: P.A.C.E.

✨ P.A.C.E., from the Brain Gym® work, is one of the most effective tools I use to help shift from overwhelmed and scattered into a calm, focused rhythm. It’s a go-to for moments of transition, when everything feels a bit dysregulated and your brain doesn’t know where to begin.

In the video above, you’ll get a short guided practice from my Focus in Four series—designed to help you build nervous system habits that stick. Just four steps, in under four minutes, and it’s easy to return to anytime.

And if you want to hear the full breakdown of how I approached re-entry (and how I actually used these tools in real time), be sure to check out the full Brain Body Biome INspo session in our private Facebook group. If you’re not already a member, you can join us HERE.

Here’s to finding ease—even when life feels hectic.

💜 Kelly
